In Pakistan, due to extreme summers and winters, there was a huge need to develop a tank which provides high level of thermal insulation in summers and winters with long life. The demand of such product from large number of customers has motivated us to design a tank which can provide the solution of a real time problem.Being pioneer of Water Tanks insulation products in Pakistan, Smart Materials Solutions has introduced InsuTank (first insulated water tank in Pakistan) with built-in insulation. With the tradition of keeping up with high standards of quality, innovation, research, InsuTank is an ideal product to protect the water from adverse climatic effects both in extreme summers as well as in winters. InsuTank is designed and developed by a team of highly qualified and experienced team after extensive research work.
Design of InsuTank
The construction of InsuTank is based on innovative multiple layers with each layer having its own significance to ensure highest standards of hygiene, durability and temperature control at a reasonable price. The inner food grade layer helps to store the water in hygienic conditions. EPS insulation layer keeps the water cool in extreme summers and warm in winters, and reduces more than 40% energy cost for water supply and storage. The outer fiberglass layers helps to protect the insulation for longer period of time.
How InsuTank is Different from Other Tanks Available in the Market?
The existing 5 layers and 7 layers tanks available in the market do not have any insulation material in their construction. They are totally made up of plastic and they cannot resist heat in extreme summer and winters. All 2 ply, 5 ply and 7 ply tanks have same thickness and weight irrespective of number of plies.

The Most Demanding Solution for Colder Areas
InsuTank does not only keep water cold in extremely hot areas but it can also be used in extremely cold areas where water gets freezed and cannot be used. InsuTank can also be used for storage of hot water. Water can be heated in InsuTank using heating elements and this heated water can be stored for longer period of time even in extremely cold areas. InsuTank with any capacity even in 2000L can be manufactured for hot water storage which is a big advantage of such type of tank.
